Box Score KEY BISCAYNE, Fla.—The 2016 women's tennis season came to an end with a 5-0 loss to SCAD in The Sun Conference Tournament semifinal round.
The Bees came into the match ranked fourth in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25, and was the regular season champion.
Southeastern suffered 8-1 losses at #1 and #2 doubles, and an 8-2 loss at #3 doubles. A win for SCAD at #4 singles and a win at #6 singles gave the Bees the five points they needed to secure the match and advance to tomorrow's championship match.
Junior
Kelsi Black was involved in a tight battle at #2 singles, dropping a 7-6 first set in a tiebreaker to No. 44 Paige Murdock, but the overall match had been decided, leaving Black's match, as well as three others unfinished.
