Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.—The Southeastern women's tennis team moved to 5-1 on the season with a 5-4 win over NCAA Division III John Carroll University.
The Blue Streaks are ranked 20
th in the Central Region in the opening ITA Division III poll.
SEU got off to a strong start in doubles, winning all three tightly-contested matches.
Emily Acierno and
Alexis Quinn came away with an 8-4 win at #1 doubles, and
Kelsi Black and
Madeline Wills won by the same count at #2.
In singles play, Quinn's sixth straight win of the year at #2 singles clinched the match, following Black's 6-2, 6-0 win at #3.
The Fire return to action tomorrow morning in Kissimmee to take on Davenport.
