In doubles play, the Fire lost at #1 by two points and at #3 in a tiebreaker.
Lucca Marcheschi and
Andrew Dickens remained unbeaten in doubles play, moving up to #2 for today's match.
Dickens picked up a win at #4 singles, and
Hunter Branstner came away with a big win at #6 singles, knocking off his opponent 7-5, 6-3, but the other four matches went the way of the Royals.
The Fire will host John Carroll on Monday in a non-conference contest at 11:30 a.m.
