Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—It wasn't quite the start that the Fire men's tennis team had hoped for, but it made it close in the end. After trailing 3-0 following doubles play, the Fire tied the match at three, but ultimately fell 5-3 to end their season 12-4.
Andrew Dickens got the rally started with a 6-2, 6-0 win at #3 singles, then was followed by a 6-2, 6-2 win by Jordan Harris at #2 singles. All-Conference selection David Veliz tied the match with a 6-4, 6-4 win at #1 singles. The Bobcats were able to score wins at #4 and #6 singles to secure the match.
