Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.—The Fire men's tennis team picked up its 10th win of the season with a 7-2 win over Sun Conference foe St. Thomas. Southeastern swept the doubles matches, but each was decided by two games or less. The 18th-ranked NAIA doubles team of David Veliz and Gelawdiyos Haile won a 7-2 tiebreaker to claim a 9-8 win over Juan Bravo and Grover Ordonez. Veliz also had to battle at #1 singles, winning 7-5, 4-6, then 10-4 in the final set. Next up for the Fire is Union College on Tuesday at noon.
