Box Score LAKELAND, FLA.– The Fire women's tennis team improved to 8-2 on the season so far with a 5-4 victory over Aquinas College. The back end of the singles carried the Fire, scoring victories in #3 through #6. The deciding point came at #6 singles when freshman Alaina Ewing won a tiebreaker after the first set, 7-1, and then closed with a 6-3 victory in the second. SEU took the #1 and #3 doubles matches as well. They're back in action Thursday, as they'll host State College of Florida at Edgewood.
