Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.- Temperatures in the low 50s along with wind gusts close to 20 miles per hour shortened Southeastern University's women's tennis match against NAIA #2 Embry-Riddle. The visiting Eagles won all seven of the completed matches. "I was very pleased with the way we played against one of the top teams in the country," said coach Bill May. "We took a lot of games; the matches that ended were competitive in a lot of ways, and the two that were left on we were competing well." The Fire next take to the courts on Tuesday when they travel to Warner.
