Former SEU women's basketball players that have advanced to the professional ranks:


2022 Women's Basketball vs. Morningside Marta Aranda
Aranda joined the Fire for the 2021-22 season after transferring from Florida Southern and played in all 33 contests, averaging 10.1 points and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 49.6% from the field and 42.5% from three-point range. Aranda also tallied 89 steals in her season with the Fire. Aranda spent last season as a member of the Spain LF Challenge where she played in 31 contests and shot 43.3% from the field.

bennell Tahanee Bennell
Bennell was a member of the 2021-22 Fire squad that posted a 33-2 overall record and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament. The Turners Beach, Tasmania native played in 33 contests and averaged seven points and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 42.5% from the field. The Austin Peay transfer spent the 2022-23 season in the Australia State League.

coe Jaycee Coe
Coe spent two seasons with the Fire (17-8, 18-19) and was named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American and First Team All-Sun Conference in her first season with the Fire. The Tennessee native started 62 games for the Fire and averaged 14.4 points and 5 rebounds per contest behind a field goal percentage of 44.7% and three-point percentage of 41%. Coe spent the 2019-20 season playing professionally in Sweden for the Visby Ladies where she played in 18 contests and averaged 14.2 points per game. Coe shot 41.3% from the field and 43.1% from three-point range.

elsa Elsa Paulsson-Glantz
Paulsson-Glantz has spent time playing professionally in Spain, Sweden, Poland, and spent the 2022-23 season in the Italy-Serie A1 league as a member of Bruschi San Giovanni Valdarno where she played in 22 contests and shot 40.7% from the field and averaged 5.9 points per contest. The Lulea, Sweden native was a member of the Fire squad during the 18-19 season and aided them to a 31-3 overall record and NAIA National Championship appearance. During her season with the Fire, Paulsson-Glantz started in all 34 contests and averaged 16.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and shot 48.3% from the field and 41.3% from distance.

emma Emma Karamovic
Karamovic joined the Fire for the 17-18 and 18-19 seasons after transferring from the University of Tampa. During her time with the Fire Karmaovic played in 66 contests and averaged 10.5 points per game while posting a field goal percentage of 44.9% and three-point percentage of 37% and was named Second Team All-Sun Conference in 2018. Karamovic has spent time playing professionally in Spain, Germany, Iceland, and Sweden and spent the 2023-24 season in the Australia-NBL One league. During her first season in Australia, Karamovic played in 21 games and averaged 12.9 points per game while shooting 41.4% from the field and 31.5% from three-point range. She spent the 2022-23 season as a member of the Iceland-Subway League where she saw time in four contests, scoring 18 points.

odom Jade Odom
After transferring from Colorado College, Odom joined the Fire for the 19-20, 20-21, and 21-22 seasons and payed in 70 contests during her three years. Odom shot 43.5% from the field during her time with the Fire and scored 359 points. Odom recently began her pro career in the Australia- NBL One league and saw time in 25 games during the 2023 season while shooting 47.8% from the field. Odom also has recorded two double-doubles in her pro career on April 13th and April 20th.

simmons Taylah Simmons
Simmons spent the 2019-20 season with the Fire and averaged 24.4 points per contest behind a field goal percentage of 60.1% and three-point percentage of 73.3% and was named an NAIA First Team All-American. Her 24.4 points per contest ranks the highest in program history for the Fire. Simmons spent the 2022-23 season in the Slovania-SK league where she played in 30 games and averaged 23.1 points per contest with a 54.8 field goal percentage. She then became a part of the Australia NBL One league during the 2023 season where she currently averages 12.3 points per game.


eliza Eliza West
After transferring from Utah State University, West spent the 2019-20 season with the Fire, playing in all 27 games and averaged 6 assists and 9.6 points per game while shooting 52.4% from the field. The Mount Martha, Australia native aided the Fire to a 27-3 overall record and NAIA National Tournament appearance. West has spent the 2021 and 2021 seasons in the Australia State League as a member of the Knox Raiders. In the 2022 season, West saw time in 13 games, scoring 62 points behind a field goal percentage of 40%. She also averaged 3.3 assists per game.
