LAKELAND, Fla. -- Southeastern Athletics enters another busy week of competition with Fire teams in action across golf, softball, baseball, wrestling, track & field, and basketball. The week features multiple championship events, key home series, and Senior Day on the hardwood.
Monday–Tuesday, February 16–17
The Fire golf programs open the week on the course at the Kinderlou Forest Springs Invite in Valdosta, Ga. Both the men's and women's teams compete across the two-day event at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
Softball also begins the week at home, hosting Mobile for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Monday at the SEU Softball Field.
Friday, February 20
Championship season begins for several Fire squads:
- Wrestling competes at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship in Miami Gardens, Fla.
- Men's and Women's Track & Field take part in the Sun Conference Indoor Championships in Gainesville, Fla.
- Baseball opens a home series against Marian with a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Ted A. Broer Stadium.
- Softball travels to Mississippi for a 4 p.m. EST doubleheader against Faulkner in Hattiesburg.
Saturday, February 21
A packed Saturday closes the week:
- Wrestling and Track & Field continue their respective conference championships.
- Baseball hosts Marian again for an 11 a.m. doubleheader in Lakeland.
- Softball remains in Hattiesburg for a 1 p.m. EST doubleheader at William Carey.
- Basketball hosts Ave Maria for Senior Day at The Furnace, with the women tipping at 2 p.m. and the men following at 4 p.m. against No. 4 Ave Maria.
