Spring Competition Continues for the Fire

Home tennis matches and road conference series highlight the Fire schedule

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Southeastern Athletics enters another active week of spring competition as Fire teams compete in golf, tennis, softball, baseball, track & field, and esports. The week features multiple home tennis matches in Lakeland, mid-week action for softball, and conference road contests for tennis, baseball and softball.

Monday, March 16

The week opens with competition on the course and the courts.
  • Women's Golf begins play at The SCAD Cup in Locust Bay, Ga., at Heron Bay Golf Course.
  • Men's Tennis hosts No. 23 SCAD Atlanta at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.
  • Women's Tennis also faces No. 7 SCAD Atlanta at 1 p.m. in Lakeland.

Tuesday, March 17

Several Fire teams remain in action across multiple states.
  • Women's Golf continues competition at The SCAD Cup.
  • Men's Tennis hosts Middle Georgia State at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.
  • Softball competes at the Space Coast Spring Games in Melbourne, Fla., facing Johnson (Tenn.) at 2:30 p.m. and Northwestern Ohio at 4:15 p.m.
  • Esports (Valorant) takes on the University of Delaware at 8 p.m.

Wednesday, March 18

  • Women's Tennis hosts Middle Georgia State at 1 p.m. in Lakeland.
  • Esports (Marvel Rivals) faces Huntington University (Ind.) at 8 p.m.

Thursday, March 19

Conference play resumes on the diamond.
  • Baseball opens a road series against Florida Memorial with a 3 p.m. game in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Friday, March 20

A busy Friday includes competition across three sports.
  • Men's and Women's Track & Field compete at the USF Bulls Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
  • Men's Tennis travels to face No. 21 St. Thomas at 11 a.m. in Miami Gardens.
  • Women's Tennis faces No. 14 St. Thomas at 1 p.m.
  • Baseball continues its series at Florida Memorial with a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
  • Softball also faces Florida Memorial at 4 p.m. in Miami Gardens.

Saturday, March 21

The week concludes with another full slate of competition.
  • Track & Field wraps up the USF Bulls Invitational in Tampa.
  • Softball continues its series at Florida Memorial with a 12 p.m. doubleheader.
  • Baseball closes the series against Florida Memorial with a 1 p.m. first pitch.
  • Men's Tennis travels to No. 3 Keiser for a 1 p.m. match in West Palm Beach.
  • Women's Tennis faces No. 1 Keiser at 1 p.m.
