ROME, Ga. -- Fire Men's Tennis met with NAIA No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett this afternoon in a rematch of the NAIA National Tournament Semifinal. The Grizzlies strength proved too much as they claimed a 4-0 victory.
Doubles went by quickly as the Grizzlies won 6-1 on flight three, and 6-2 on flight two. Flight one went unfinished, with No. 1 Santiago Villaruel/Luis Francisco leading No. 6

Javier Gallego 5-4.
Singles went just as similarly, Georgia Gwinnett quickly winning on lines two and five in just over an hour, putting the Grizzlies ahead of the Fire 3-0.
The score sat at 3-0 for another fifteen minutes as SEU struggled for a shot at the ITA Indoor Nationals Finals match. But the final blow came on line six as Aris Lafazanos was held off by Kanan Gasimov (6-4, 6-2).
The only set win of the day came from
Gonzalo Fernandez on line four, taking the first set in extras from Juan Carlos Garcia (7-6 (7-0), 1-0).
The Fire await their competitor in the third place match, set to face either NAIA No. 1 Keiser or NAIA No. 4 Tennessee Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m.
