TAMPA & WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Southeastern University track & field teams competed in two different locations over the weekend and delivered standout performances, setting two new school records and posting the top 2025 NAIA time in the men's 4x100-meter relay.
Irmiris Mendez and MarieAnge Moussignac each broke school records, while the Fire men's 4x100 squad of James Williamson III, Malik Blunt, Cameron Alamia, and Davien Worrels blazed to a time of 39.90 seconds at the University of South Florida Invitational—currently the fastest in the NAIA this season and trailing only NCAA Division I programs Ohio State and USF.
Mendez, who broke another school record last week, continued her dominance by running the 100-meter dash in 11.56 seconds—an NAIA 'A' Standard qualifying time. Moussignac shattered a four-year-old SEU mark in the hammer throw, recording a distance of 46.57 meters.
In total, SEU athletes produced 14 NAIA qualifying standards and 14 top-three finishes across events at the USF Invitational and the Keiser University Twilight Meet.
