Titles, Tournaments, and Tough Tests Await the Fire

A massive week of SEU Athletics features championship races, basketball classics, and a primetime football clash with No. 2 Keiser

Postseason action meets early-season competition as Southeastern teams hit the road and defend home turf during one of the busiest weeks of the semester.

Tuesday, November 4 – Women's Basketball at Brewton-Parker

The week tips off in Mount Vernon, Georgia, as women's basketball continues its early non-conference schedule at Brewton-Parker College. The Fire look to build on their strong start before heading north later in the week for tournament play.

Wednesday, November 5 – Conference and Road Contests

A trio of SEU programs are in action Wednesday night:
  • Men's Soccer opens The Sun Conference Tournament against No. 3 SCAD-Savannah at 7 p.m. in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
  • Volleyball closes its regular season on the road at Warner University in Lake Wales at 7 p.m., wrapping up Sun Conference play.
  • Men's Basketball continues its early-season stretch with a 7 p.m. road game at Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina.

Thursday–Friday, November 6–7 – Cumberlands Classic

  • Women's Basketball heads to Kentucky for two games at the Cumberlands Classic, taking on Goshen College (Ind.) Thursday at 6 p.m. and Defiance College (Ohio) Friday at 1 p.m.
  • Meanwhile, Men's Basketball continues its road trip Friday afternoon at Columbia International University, tipping at 3 p.m. in Columbia, South Carolina.

Saturday, November 8 – Championships and Rivalries

A jam-packed Saturday brings postseason stakes and regional showdowns across five states:
  • Cross Country competes in the Sun Conference Championship in Hardeeville, South Carolina, with the women's 6K starting at 8 a.m. and the men's 8K at 8:45 a.m.
  • Wrestling visits Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, for dual action beginning at 11 a.m. before heading to Franklin Springs for Sunday's Georgia Open.
  • Men's Basketball plays its third game of the week, facing Columbia College (S.C.) at 12:30 p.m.
  • Volleyball heads to Miami Gardens to challenge No. 14 St. Thomas University at 2 p.m. in a potential postseason preview.
  • Football battles No. 2 Keiser University in a primetime showdown at 6 p.m. in West Palm Beach with Sun Conference title implications.
  • Back home, Women's Soccer hosts a Sun Conference Tournament Semifinal at 6 p.m. on the SEU Soccer Field, taking on the lowest remaining seed in their quest for another trip to the championship match.

Sunday, November 9 – Wrestling at Georgia Open

The week closes with Fire Wrestling continuing its early-season slate at the Georgia Open in Franklin Springs, Georgia, featuring top NAIA and NCAA competition.
