Defensively, the Fire have held opponents to 1.00 goals per match and boast a .736 save percentage. The blend of precision up front and stability in the back has been key to SEU's steady climb into championship contention.
History in Their Favor
The Fire's program history continues to shine, with an all-time record of 284-134-21 (.671), including 134-50-11 (.715) at home. In conference play, Southeastern has gone 104-48-7 (.676), highlighted by a .692 winning percentage inside the SEU Soccer Field.
The Fire have also thrived in October, posting a 113-58-9 (.653) mark all-time during the month and a 4-0-1 record on October 25, the same date as this weekend's Senior Day matchup.
Playoff Picture Heating Up
Six teams will qualify for the Sun Conference Tournament, and Southeastern enters the week atop the table with 15 points (5-1), narrowly ahead of St. Thomas (14 pts) and Keiser (13 pts). SCAD Savannah (12 pts) and Florida Memorial (10 pts) have also clinched postseason berths, while New College of Florida (7 pts) holds the final spot.
Clutch and Consistent
Sara Irurozki has been one of the Sun's most reliable scorers, ranking fifth in the league with nine goals and third with 23 points. Her .250 shooting percentage ranks among the conference's best, and she's produced in key moments with two game-winners and a perfect mark from the penalty spot.
Midfield Maestro
Ariadna Lozano, the reigning NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, has elevated SEU's attack with seven goals and five assists, both top-five marks in the Sun. Her combination of technical precision and poise under pressure has driven the Fire's four-match win streak, including an assist on the game-winner at No. 1 Keiser.
Reliable Finisher
Olivia Hadad continues to provide a scoring punch with seven goals and a .545 shots-on-goal rate, ranking among the Sun's top 10 in scoring efficiency. Her ability to capitalize on chances in tight spaces gives the Fire a dangerous secondary scorer behind Irurozki.
The Spark Plug
Madelyn Davidson has been a key two-way contributor, posting four goals and three assists this season. Her speed and relentless pressure have opened lanes for SEU's attack, punctuated by her game-winning goal in the upset of top-ranked Keiser.
Cool Under Pressure
Rebecca Laface has added four goals and two assists, including two game-winners, proving to be one of SEU's most dependable finishers. Her ability to deliver in crucial moments has added depth and composure to the Fire's offensive lineup.
The Brick Wall
Goalkeeper
Sofia Diaz anchors SEU's back line with a 0.92 goals-against average and .760 save percentage, along with three solo shutouts.
She leads a confident rotation that includes
Madison Songer (0.79 GAA) and
Ella Sebree (1.40 GAA). Together, the trio owns a 1.00 team goals-against average and six shutouts—one of the stingiest marks in the conference.
Royals on the Ropes
Warner enters the weekend 3-9-2 overall and 1-4-1 in Sun play, led by senior forward Morgan Sullivan, who has scored six of the team's 17 goals and three game-winners. The Royals average 1.21 goals per match and have struggled defensively, conceding nearly three per game. Goalkeeper Inna Vannula has kept them competitive with a 2.15 GAA and .711 save percentage through nine appearances.
Southeastern has dominated the all-time series, holding a 20-8-0 record and a 14-match win streak against the Royals. The Fire have outscored Warner 36-2 in the last 10 meetings, including a 3-2 home win last season. SEU is 10-5 at home and 10-3 on the road in the series, averaging 2.71 goals per game while allowing just 1.61 since the rivalry began in 2009.
Clash for the Crown
St. Thomas enters the week 9-3-4 overall and 4-1-2 in Sun play, unbeaten in its last ten (9-0-1). The Bobcats boast one of the league's best defenses, allowing only 0.69 goals per match, anchored by goalkeeper Isabella Penaranda (0.71 GAA, .851 save percentage). Offensively, Julia Ezcurra leads the charge with eight goals and three assists, while Ariana Vazquez has added five goals.
Southeastern holds a 16-8-1 advantage in the all-time series with St. Thomas and has dominated recent history, going unbeaten in the last 14 meetings (13-0-1). The Fire have been strong in Lakeland, posting an 11-3-1 home record against the Bobcats, while maintaining a 5-5 mark on the road. The rivalry has featured several close contests in recent years, including a 2-1 Fire win in Lakeland in 2024 and a 3-2 victory in the 2023 Sun Conference semifinal. Over the past decade, Southeastern has found ways to win the tight ones, outscoring St. Thomas 41-39 overall in a matchup that consistently carries postseason implications.
