Doubles set the tone for the contest, the first two flights were finished in short order. Francina Puig Llompart and Alessia Piccoliori blanked #38 Martina Picardi and Simone Simas, and not long after the Fire's flight two consisting of Flaminia Guidantoni and Ingrid Montserrat was defeated 6-2 by #44 Sofia Ragona and Priya Sukkhana.
