Box Score 2 WALESKA, Ga.- Southeastern baseball split the day versus the #11 nationally ranked Reinhardt Eagles, winning game one 19-6, and losing game two 3-0, snapping their 18-game win streak. This moves the Fire to 29-3 (8-0 SUN) on the season.
Game one started out with the Eagles holding the momentum, as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings of play. The fourth inning saw Southeastern plate home their first run, which started a streak of 15 unanswered runs over five innings.

Chayce Bryant and
Landrey Wilkerson all left the yard in that five inning span, with Wilkerson adding a second home run in the top of the ninth and a team leading six RBIs in game one.
Olvis Genao picked up his first win of the season after an impressive relief effort, posting four innings of shutout work, striking out four Eagles on just one hit, leading the Fire to a victorious game one.
Game number two saw a pitchers duel, with both teams being held scoreless until the bottom of the fourth, where the Eagles struck first. They were able to add on another in the bottom of the fifth, along with one in the seventh. That was all the offense the Eagles needed in game two, as the Fire bats were kept quiet all game until the top of the ninth.
Brannon Mondragon was able to plate home a 2-out, RBI single, but that was all the offense Southeastern was able to produce, despite bringing up the go ahead run to the plate.
The rubber match between the Fire and Eagles will start at noon tomorrow afternoon.
