LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern volleyball took a four-set Sun Conference win tonight over Warner University to move to 11-3 overall and 3-1 in the SUN.

The Fire hit .298 throughout the match and were led by a season-high night by
Grace Petty who recorded 17 kills, 15 digs, and three service aces.

Emilia Harding tallied 11 kills and four blocks.

Cambry Pope led the team in both digs (16) and service aces (4) while
Alexandra Postlethwaite posted a season-high 51 assists.

The Fire took set one by a score of 25-23 behind a match-high kill total of 16 with a .324 attack percentage. Southeastern led set one for the entirety of the set until a Royals kill and Fire error gave the visiting team the 23-22 edge. Pope then recorded back-to-back kills before a
Tatyana Lyons kill concluded set one.

The Southeastern offense dominated in set two, posting a 25-10 win with a .357 attack percentage. Defensively, the Fire held the Royals to a -.207 attack percentage. Jumping out to a 3-0 lead, Lyons went to the service line eight times in a row backed by three consecutive kills by Petty to take a substantial 19-6 lead. Harding recorded two late kills while a Pope kill concluded set two.

The Fire offense went from their best offensive set to their worst, dropping set three 25-23 with a .143 attack percentage.

In set four, Southeastern hit .387 to take the 25-16 set win. Set four was back-and-forth until a 5-1 run by the Fire gave them a 14-10 cushion which they rode to the match victory.

Southeastern will be back in action on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Fla. as they take on Keiser University at 2 p.m.
