LAKELAND, Fla.—Neither team was able to find the net during 90 minutes of Sun Conference women's soccer action between Southeastern and St. Thomas Thursday night.
Southeastern (2-2-1) controlled possession for the majority of the game and finished with a 13-8 advantage in shots and a 6-2 advantage in shots on goal. In the second half, the Fire had a 10-3 advantage in total shots.
The Fire also had six chances on corner kicks, one resulting in a St. Thomas (4-0-2) field player marked up against the near post heading the ball to keep it out of the net.
Southeastern will be on the road again on Saturday at Warner at 7 p.m.
