BRUNSWICK, Ga.—Southeastern came away with a 6-1 win over Coastal Georgia on Friday.
Even with some doubles teams shuffling and players moving up a flight, the Fire were victorious in eight of the nine matches.
In singles play,
Beatrice Letizia was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at Line 1 and
Simone Simas followed with a shutout victory at Line 4.
Neleah Neiberline bounced back from a 6-4 loss in the first set at Line 3 with a 6-2, 10-3 win to clinch the match.
Irene Lopez (#5) and
Micah Sypert (#2) were also victorious in singles play.
The team will be back on the court in the Peach State tomorrow afternoon against No. 8 SCAD at 3 p.m.
