LAKELAND, Fla.- The No. 6 ranked Southeastern women's tennis team advanced their record to 9-5 on the season with an 8-1 victory over St. Olaf College.

After dropping line one doubles,
Neleah Neiberline and
Irene Lopez shutout their opponent at line two for an 8-0 win with
Maria Martinez and
Priscila Baptista taking an 8-3 win at line three to give the Fire a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.

With 6-2 and 6-1 set wins at line one singles,
Martina Picardi advanced to 7-3 on the season while
Micah Sypert moved to 8-4 with a three-set victory (7-5, 3-6, 10-7).

Beatrice Letizia advanced her win streak to five with 6-0 and 6-2 wins at line three.

Neiberline earned her third win of the season at line four by scores of 6-1 and 6-2 while
Abigail Damon took her match with two 6-1 set scores.

Isabella Forcella earned her first win of the season in a three-set battle at line six after winning set one 7-6 and 7-5 in the tiebreaker. Set two went in favor of the visiting team with a score of 6-4 with Forcella taking set three and the match with an 11-9 score.

The Fire will next take on No.12 Ave Maria University on Friday on the road at 1 p.m.
