LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern volleyball used a four-set win over the College of Coastal Georgia to move to 16-3 and 7-1 in Sun Conference play.

The Fire capitalized on a .158 attack percentage from the Mariners to take the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 19-25, and 15-14.

Southeastern controlled set one, hitting .324 with 14 kills to counter the Mariners' seven errors. Despite trailing the Mariners 12-6 in set one, the Fire used a five-point run led by two
Emilia Harding kills to bring the contest within one. Two attack errors and a kill by
Cambry Pope flipped the script, giving the Fire the 16-14 lead and forcing a Mariners' timeout. The Fire rode the momentum of that run to a 25-19 set one win.

A match-low .091 attack percentage from the Mariners in set two opened the door for 16 Fire kills and a 25-20 win. After leading the entirety of the set, the Fire committed three consecutive attack errors, opening the door for the Mariners to tie the contest at 16. Four consecutive points, two of which were
Grace Petty kills, gave the Fire a large enough lead to sustain them the remainder of the set.

A quiet offensive set for the Fire that saw them hit a set-low .103 handed the Mariners the 25-19 win to force a fourth set. The set was back-and-forth for a majority of the time until the Mariners strung together a 5-0 run after four consecutive Fire attack errors, taking and holding the lead.

The Fire responded with their best offensive set of the night in the fourth, hitting .368 with 17 kills, taking the 25-14 win.

Petty led the offense with 19 kills and also recorded nine digs and three blocks.

The defense was led by
Chapel Cunningham who recorded 14 digs, four blocks, and a service ace.

Pope concluded the night with a double-double after recording 13 kills, 11 digs, two service aces and a team-best .320 attack percentage.

Tatyana Lyons had 11 kills, three blocks, and two service aces.

Additionally, junior setter
Alexandra Postlethwaite's 46 assists on the night secured her 2,000
th career assist, becoming the fourth member in program history to record 2,000 or more assists.
