BRUNSWICK, Ga.—Southeastern dropped its Sun Conference semifinal match with top-seeded Keiser 4-0 on Thursday to move to 13-6 on the season.
Keiser took the doubles point with a 6-0 win at No. 1 and a 6-4 win at No. 3. The match at Line 2 went unfinished and was tied 4-4.
The Seahawks also won at Lines 6, 3, and 4 in singles play to secure the match. Although unfinished,
Beatrice Letizia had forced a third set against ninth-ranked Kahea Companion at Line 2 and
Martina Picardi was one game away from getting the Fire on the board leading her No. 1 Singles match 6-4, 5-2 over 19
th-ranked Kanon Sorakubo.
Southeastern will await to see if it will receive an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championship when the field is announced on May 3
rd.
