Fire Look to Top Seahawks in Sun Conference Showdown

LAKELAND, Fla. - The No. 1 Southeastern University Fire baseball team is heading down to West Palm Beach to face the Keiser University Seahawks in a three-game series this weekend to resume Sun Conference play. 

 

GAMES: 

 

No. 1 Southeastern University Fire (37-1, 14-0 SUN) vs. Keiser University Seahawks (25-15, 10-8 SUN).

 

Friday: 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

 

Saturday: 12:00 p.m.


Fire Focus 

 
  • The Fire will look to continue their winning streak, having won their last 11 regular season games. The Fire are currently undefeated in Sun Conference play and are coming off of a three-game series against St. Thomas where the Fire took all three games winning with the scores of 8-0, 3-1, and 10-3.

 
  • The Fire are averaging 10.1 runs per game and 11.7 hits per game. 

 
  • On the mound, the Fire pitching staff has posted a 2.26 ERA with 437 strikeouts in 315 innings. Opponents are batting .220 off Fire pitchers this season.
