SAVANNAH, Ga.—Southeastern closed the regular season with a 5-2 loss at SCAD-Savannah to bring its overall record to 12-5 and 3-3 in Sun Conference play.
Southeastern scored at No. 1 Singles with
Martina Picardi downing 11
th-ranked Priya Sukkanha in three sets. Picardi bounced back from a 6-4 loss in the first with a 7-5 win in the second and a 10-4 win in the third.
Abigail Damon had a similar experience at No. 6 Singles, dropping the first 7-5 and rallying with a 6-1 and 10-5 win to take the match in three.
The Fire will be back on the courts on April 28
th in The Sun Conference semifinals as the No. 4 seed taking on top-seeded Keiser in Brunswick, Ga.
