LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern has won three of its last four men's tennis matches after coming away with a 7-0 win over Cornerstone Monday afternoon.
The Fire won the doubles point by winning all three matches, including a tiebreaker at No. 2 doubles by
Victor Olivera and
Diego Menendez by the count of 7-0 to take the match 7-6.
SEU took all six singles matches including a tough battle at Line 2 by
Enrique Martinez, taking the match 7-5, then 7-6, winning the tiebreaker 7-4 for his first win at No. 2 this season.
The Fire are now 5-4 on the year and return to the courts on Thursday at 1 p.m. against Aquinas.
