LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern has won its last eight matches following a 4-2 win over Mobile in a matchup of Top 25 teams.
 
Mobile won the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 3 Doubles after the Rams took the top spot and Southeastern the second with 
Martina Picardi and 
Priscila Baptista winning 6-4.
 
The Rams moved the advantage to 3-1 with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles. 
Beatrice Letizia got the Fire on the board with a shutout win at Line 2. 
Abigail Damon came up with a straight-sets win at Line 6 and 
Martina Picardi tie the match at three by winning the second set in a tiebreaker.
 
It came down to freshman 
Irene Lopez on Court 5, trailing one set to none after dropping the first 7-5. Lopez came back by winning the second 6-3 and the third 6-2 to clinch the match.
 
Southeastern will travel to Embry-Riddle next Saturday for an 11 a.m. match with the NCAA Division II Eagles.
