LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern won its fifth match against a Top 25 men's tennis team this season with a convincing 6-1 win over No. 14 Mobile on Saturday.
The Fire took two of the three doubles matches with the 14
th-ranked pair of
Roy Stepanov and
Federico Barbon coming away with a 7-2 win in the tiebreaker. SEU also took No. 2 Doubles with
Diego Menendez and
Victor Olivera blanking Mougaillard and Diloreto.
Mobile got its lone point at No. 2 Singles from No. 48 Joao Pedro Okano. Menendez bounced back from a first set loss in his Line 5 match to win the second 6-3 and the third 6-1 to take the match.
Southeastern has now won six in a row and returns to action next Saturday at Embry-Riddle at 11 a.m.
