CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.- In one of their best offensive displays of the season, the Southeastern women's basketball team took a commanding 96-80 victory over the No. 18 ranked Georgetown College to move to 4-4 on the season.

The Lions led the Fire after the first period, 21-19, after outshooting the Fire with a 67% effort from the field and 50% effort from three-point range. The Fire shot 42% from midrange in the first period and 37% from three-point range.

A Gabby Suarez three-point shot to open the second period would be the final lead change as the Fire would go up 22-21 and hold the lead for the entirety of the contest.

In the second quarter, the Fire outscored Georgetown 30-24 in the second quarter, shooting 60% from the field and going 5-7 from beyond the arc. Suarez went 3-3 from distance in the second period while Raegan Linster went 4-5 from the field, aiding in the Fire's 49-45 lead heading into the half.

Continuing their hot hand from the field, the Fire stung together a field goal percentage of 59% in the third period, converting 13 of their 22 shots with Suarez tallying 12 points in the third and aiding in the Fire's commanding 81-64 lead heading into the final period.

The Fire would hold and extend their lead in the final 10, completing the 96-80 victory after shooting 51.4% from the field and 44% from three-point range.

Suarez led the scoring with 26 points while Linster tallied another double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Southeastern will be back in action on December 1
st as they host Webber International for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
