LAKELAND, Fla.- In their second consecutive Sun Conference win, the Southeastern University volleyball team extended their record to 8-11 and 4-4 in conference play with the 3-0 shutout of Coastal Georgia.

The Fire strung together their best offensive night of the season, hitting .400 for the match with a total of 48 kills.

Southeastern would not give up the lead in any of the three sets, concluding set one with a .464 hitting percentage and 25-12 score. Set two would see a perfect set from the Fire as they accumulated 16 kills and .444 attack percentage without making an error to take the set 25-14. The third and final set saw a match-high 18 kills from the Fire as they would take the final set 25-16 and the 3-0 match.

Chapel Cunningham had an impressive night, collecting season highs in kills with 10, aces with six, digs with 11, and points with 13.

Holly Kaczmarek registered 17 digs while Aly Postlethwaite led the team in assists with 18.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Fire as they compete against Keiser University tomorrow at 2 p.m. in West Palm Beach.
