Miami Gardens, Fla.- The No. 2 ranked Southeastern University baseball team will take on No. 18 St. Thomas University in a three game weekend series with the first game of the series on Friday at 6:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Fire currently hold an overall record of 37-4 and are coming off of a three game series sweep of Florida Memorial. As a team, the Fire rank fourth in the nation in total runs batted in (361) and fifth in total runs scored (401).
Nick Bottari leads the Fire offense with a batting average of .410 and a team high 17 home runs.
Colton Onstott has been hot in the box lately with an average of .408, 33 RBIs, and 53 hits.

As a pitching staff,
Christian Camacho has been the ace arm with an overall record of 7-0, 83 strikeouts through 72 innings, and an opponent batting average of .214.
Ryan Munoz has been successful out of the bullpen with an undefeated 6-0 record and a team high four saves.

The Bobcats currently hold a record of 30-16 with a Sun Conference record of 15-6 and are on a five game winning streak after their three game series sweep of Webber International. Offensively the Bobcats hold a .321 batting average and .425 on base percentage. Daniel Mondejar leads the offense with a .376 batting average and nine home runs while Alejandro Rivero has registered a team high 10 home runs and 47 RBIs. The Bobcats rank number two in the nation in total hits (478) and total at bats (1487).

The pitching staff has been the Bobcats strong point this season and has registered a combined 4.65 ERA and 445 strikeouts in only 379 innings pitched which ranks them first in the nation in batters struck out. Ernesto Pino captains the pitching staff with a team high 59.2 innings pitched and a 7-1 record while also registering 72 strikeouts and a 3.47 ERA.
