WEST PALM, Fla.- The No. 5 Fire fell in a hard fought battle today to the No. 2 ranked and back-to-back National Champions the Keiser University Seahawks by a score of 2-0 in the Sun Conference Game of the Week to move their overall record to 5-3.

After a scoreless first half from both teams, the Seahawks netted the first goal of the contest in the 49
th minute when freshman Oline Sundgot got a loose ball inside the box and found the bottom left corner for the 1-0 lead. Nine minutes later in the 58
th minute Maja Lundman advanced the Seahawks lead to two after punching a cross into the top left corner from just outside the box past a diving keeper. Despite a sufficient amount of time remaining on the clock for the Fire, the Seahawk defense managed to maintain the shutout.

Despite the shutout, the Fire managed to get eight shots off in the 90 minutes including four on goal.
Holly Eddins ended the match with five saves.

The Fire will be back in action in Lawrenceville, Ga. on Thursday at 7 p.m. as they face off against the receiving votes Georgia Gwinnett College.
