LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - The No. 10 Southeastern University women's soccer team won their road game match-up with a lone goal against the Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies 1-0.
The Fire gained an early lead in the 25th minute, with a header coming from Ramsey Watkins with assists from Jennifer Luna and Shara Randez.
The Fire kept on the offensive side and outshot the Grizzlies 13-7 and with more shots on goal 9-2. Fire also able to receive more corner kick opportunities with seven compared to the Grizzlies' three.
The Fire look to keep momentum on the road as they head to Thomasville, Ga. to face Thomas University on Saturday, October 9th at 1:30 P.M.
