LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Southeastern University volleyball team advanced their season records to 15-10 and 3-4 in Sun Conference play tonight with a dominate three set sweep of the Warner University Royals in Lake Wales Fla.

The Fire took the first set by a score of 25-16 after the team recorded 15 kills and a kill percentage of .324. The Fire trailed for the majority of the first set until freshmen
Emilia Harding and
Sandy Cao each recorded two quick kills to bring the Fire to a 15-13 lead, forcing the Royals to take their first timeout of the match. Out of the timeout, the Fire offense continued to hold the momentum as
Kennedy Jones and
Jordyn Stiger would each record kills to advance the Fire lead with Cao recording four more kills that would aid the Fire in a late set 8-0 run to secure the 25-16 victory.

In the second set, the Fire opened up with three unanswered points. Jones had a solid second set performance as she was able to help advance the lead to 17-9 with two kills and four consecutive service aces. Stiger ended the second set Fire victory with a kill to advance the Fire lead to 2-0 over the Royals with the 25-16 win. The Royals recorded eight errors in the second set while the Fire managed nine kills and five service aces.

Going into the third set with a 2-0 victory, the Fire jumped out to an early lead with an 8-0 run after capitalizing on six more Royals errors.
Julia Alves, Jones, and Cao were responsible for bringing the Fire lead to 11-5 with a kill each. The Fire made quick work of the Royals in the final set with a hitting percentage of .480, 14 kills, and two more service aces to secure the 25-11 win over the Royals to complete the 3-0 sweep.

Cao ended the night with a team high in kills and digs with 15 and 16 while freshman Harding led the team in hitting percentage at .421. Alexandra Poslethwaite advanced her season total with 27 of the Fire's 31 assists.

The Fire will travel to Jacksonville, Fla. tomorrow to take on Trinity Baptist College in a 3 p.m. match.
