LAKELAND, Fla.—The Southeastern women's soccer team remained unbeaten, getting a goal in the 80
th minute to defeat The Master's University 1-0 in their first game of the spring.
Naira Lopez took a ball that deflected off the back of a Master's player at the top of the box, and buried it just under the crossbar for the lone tally of the match.
The teams were basically equal in the first 45 minutes with the Mustangs (1-2-1) registering seven shots with two on goal and the Fire with six shots and three on goal. The second half saw SEU outshoot The Master's 11-2 with seven of the 11 shots by the hosts on frame.

Holly Eddins made three saves for her seventh shutout of the season.
The Fire will hit the road on Thursday for a two-game road trip, which will start with perennial power William Carey for a 6 p.m. match.
