MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – After trailing most of the game, the Southeastern Fire women's basketball team pulled out a tough 51-47 win against the St. Thomas Bobcats. At their last match up, the Fire had an impressive 67-36 win over the Bobcats.

The win on the road advanced SEU's record to 13-2, and 11-0 in The Sun Conference.

With less than three minutes to play, Gabrielle Ozoude knocked down a jumper to tie the game 47-47 and the Fire held onto the lead the rest of the game.

The Fire out rebounded the Bobcats 35-23, which gave them more scoring opportunities. They also were able to put up eight more points off turnovers, which ultimately led to the outcome of the game.
