LAKELAND, Fla.- The No. 4 Southeastern University baseball team is trading in their sunscreen and surfboards for bats and baseballs this Spring Break. The Fire are set to commence a 14-game non-conference home stand over the next two weeks at Ted A. Broer Stadium. The lengthy homestay begins this week with a six-game slate.

- The SEU pitching staff has compiled a 3.70 team earned run average on the year, striking out 159 strikeouts in 141 innings pitched, as well as allowing opposing bats to hit just .215 at the plate.
- Junior right-handed pitcher Bryce Mulcahy is now 4-0 on the season with an average of 11.4 strikeouts per nine innings pitched.
- Senior right-handed reliever Marc Soto has been terrific for the Fire out of the bullpen. Soto is 3-0 on the season with a save, and a 1.15 ERA. In 15.1 innings pitched, the Coral Springs native has struck out 12 batters and allowed opposing bats to hit a mere .132.

THE CRUSADERS:
- Madonna enters its game versus Southeastern having won seven of its last 10 contests.
- As an offensive unit, the Crusaders are hitting .295 with 20 home runs on the year.
- Senior infielder Frankie Lucska leads the Crusaders with a .435 average and 10 doubles.
- The MU pitching staff holds a 3.27 ERA with 146 strikeouts in 121 innings tossed. Opponents are hitting .214 off Madonna arms.
- True freshman right-handed pitcher Nate Blain has been excellent for the Crusaders thus far, holding a 1.31 ERA with a 3-0 record in five appearances. In 20.2 innings tossed, Blain has struck out 29 batters.

THE SPRING ARBOR COUGARS:
- The Cougars are 7-3 on the season, but are coming off a series loss to Mount Vernon Nazarene, where they dropped two of three.
- Offensively, Spring Arbor is hitting .308 with 15 doubles and five home runs on the season.
- Freshman infielder Glenn Miller is off to a successful start to his collegiate career, hitting .405 with 11 runs batted in, as well as a team-leading 15 hits.
- The SAU pitching staff has collected a 5.58 earned run average, allowing 29 extra-base hits in 79 innings tossed thus far.
- Junior utility man Vincet Herschberger is a perfect 3-3 in save opportunities on the season, striking out five batters in 4.1 innings of work. Herschberger is also the team leader in home runs and RBIs, belting two long balls and driving in 15 runs at the plate.

- Judson is 3-6 since starting the 2020 season in The Sunshine State on February 23.
- At the plate, the Eagles are hitting .249 with 16 doubles and a lone home run on the season.
- Sophomore infielder Josh Golibrzuch leads Judson with a .438 batting average and five runs scored.
- On the mound, the Eagles have posted a 4.71 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 70.1 innings of work.
- Junior southpaw pitcher Alonzo White is a perfect 2-0 with a 0.87 ERA in his two starts this season. In 10.1 innings pitched, White has struck out 15 and allowed opponents to hit just .111.

THE ROBERT MORRIS EAGLES:
- Robert Morris is 2-0 on its trip to Florida thus far.
- Offensively, the Eagles are hitting .282 with 16 doubles and 58 runs batted in on the year.
- Junior first baseman Tyler Suchy is the team-leader in batting average of any player with 20 or more at-bats, hitting .333 with 10 runs scored and is a perfect 3-3 on stolen base attempts.
- The RMU pitching staff has compiled a 6.08 earned run average with 28 extra-base hits conceded in 77 innings pitched on the season.
- Junior righty Carsie Walker is coming off a big win over Michigan-Dearborn, in which he struck out six in six innings pitched.

- The Cougars are 2-5 on the season, earning a 12-6 win over Grace in their first game played in The Sunshine State.
- Saint Xavier is hitting .246 at the plate as an offensive unit, driving in 35 runs on 15 extra-base hits.
- Senior first baseman Ben Zordani leads the Cougars with a .385 batting average and .529 on-base percentage on the young season.
- The SXU pitching staff has struggled at the gate, posting a 9.37 earned run average in 49 innings tossed thus far. They have conceded 17 home runs.
