LAKELAND, Fla. - The Southeastern men's team is now 5-3 overall on the season, and 4-1 in conference play. The Fire fell to the No. 7 Seahawks by a score of 7-0 this Saturday afternoon.
SEU fought hard against the seventh-ranked team in the country, but despite the Fire's hard work, Keiser took all seven points on the day.
Senior Felipe Barbosa came close to earning a point for the Fire as he won the first set 6-2, before Keiser's Juan Marrero was able to come back and win the second and extra set.
The Fire will be back on the courts March 4th to take on Judson. Matches are set to start at 11:30 a.m.
