LAKELAND, Fla.—The Southeastern University men's tennis team ended a two-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over Judson University in a match played to decision on Wednesday.
For the fourth straight match, the Fire lost the doubles point, losing at the first two positions 6-4, and 6-2.
Alec Lichter and
Enrique Martinez were a 6-4 winner at Line 3 to 1-1 on the year.
Southeastern came back strong in singles play, winning at Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6 to win the match. As a team, the Fire are now 31-21 in singles play.
Felipe Barbosa,
Omar Fiorenzato, and
Alec Lichter all scored their team-leading seventh singles wins of the year.
The Fire will face No. 8 Point on Friday.
