DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The Southeastern University women's track and field team continued to rack up top-results and national standards at the Embry Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge on Saturday. All in all, the Fire had 12 top-three finishes in a field that included both NAIA and NCAA Division II programs and had five hit NAIA national standards. All times listed besides those from the 60 meters and 60 meter hurdles will be converted to meet indoor protocol.
Freshman
Oluwafikayomi Lawrence set a new program record in the 60 meters, finishing in 7.64 seconds. Lawrence hit the NAIA "A" standard and placed third in a field of 38 runners.
The 4x400 meter relay also hit the "A" mark with a 3:51.46 finish, good for first place in the field of 10 teams. The finish by freshman

Namiah Simpson, and sophomore
Courtney Gales was the fastest of any relay team in the NAIA thus far in 2020.
Simpson also hit the "B" standard in the 400 meter race, placing second out of 34 runners with a 57.54 finish.
Freshman
Ashley Epps hit multiple "B" marks. First with a 7.78 finish in the 60 meters, then with a 9.13 finish in the 60 meter hurdles, which placed her second out of 22 hurdlers.
Freshman
Amaya Kier also hit the national "B" standard in the 60 meters at 7.74.
