LAKELAND, Fla. – Southeastern men's tennis team is now 2-2 overall in their season. SEU fell to Gustavus Adolphus College by a score of 8-1.
In doubles competition, the Fire put up a fight in two of the three games. However, could not come out on top with the win losing by a one-point deficit in No.2 doubles and a two-point deficit in No.3 doubles.
In singles competition, the Fire's No.4 singles player,
Enrique Martinez won his match today. Martinez won the first set 6-3 and then took the second set 7-6.
Southeastern will be back in action when they play SCAD, Georgia on February 16
th. Matches are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
