Men's Soccer Aims to Remain Unbeaten

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Fire remain undefeated after two contests away from home last week, and continue their stretch of road games this week when they travel to play SCAD Savannah on Wednesday October 16th at 7 p.m.

GAMES:
Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. @ SCAD Savannah, SCAD Athletics Complex, Hardeeville, S.C.
COVERAGE: Live Stats     Live Video

FIRE FOCUS:
• Graduate Jake Van Der Luit continued to lead the Fire this past week as he recorded two goals and an assist in the two matches. He leads The Sun Conference in goals (14), shots (54), shots on goal (29), points (32), and points per game (2.67).
• The tie against Johnson and Wales last week ended an eight-game win-streak for Southeastern. However, the Fire are still off to their best in program history with a record of 10-0-2.

ALL-TIME:
• The Fire have gone 4-2-1 in matchups against SCAD since 2013. The teams last met in 2017 when they split two games.
• SCAD will see plenty of new faces from the Fire as senior Joey Dodson was the only member of this year's team that played in the matches two seasons ago. In the second match, Dodson tallied a goal, his second for the season.

THE BEES:
• SCAD (4-4, 2-2 TSC) enters play Wednesday splitting their previous four matches, most recently defeating Florida Memorial 5-2.
• Sophomore Tom Barry is the key player for the Bees as he leads the team in goals (5) and shots on goal (7).
• The goalkeeper for the Bees is sophomore Joe Parker who has notched 18 goals thus far this season.
