Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Fire continued their hot start to the 2017 campaign, as the No. 14 Southeastern University women's soccer team handled the Webber International University Warriors 4-1 to improve to 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in Sun Conference play.

Uchenna Kanu dribbled the ball through a trio of defenders to finish in the box from 11 yards out.
The Fire held a 1-0 advantage going into the half.

Melanie Peyton found graduate forward
Estefania Fuentes in the box on a well-placed corner kick that Fuentes turned and finished on for her fifth goal of the season.
The Warriors notched their lone goal of the contest in the 81
st minute to cut the deficit to 2-1.
The Fire stifled any Webber momentum with a pair of late scores in the 84
th minute.
First, Kanu found the back of the net for the 14
th time this season off the corner kick from junior defender
Isamar Duran. The Abia, Nigeria native has registered a point in every contest this season and has now scored four career goals versus Webber International.
Just 25 seconds later, sophomore defender
Konya Plummer scored for the fourth consecutive game after Fuentes flicked the ball back to Plummer.
"We created a lot of good scoring chances and it just took until later for us to convert on them...Webber is always a tough place to come into so any time you can get a strong result like that, you'll be satisfied," shared Head Coach

The score put SEU up 4-1 and secured the Fire's third straight win over the Warriors.
