Fire Looking To Keep Winning Streak Alive At Florida Memorial

LAKELAND, FLA.--Southeastern completed their three-game sweep of Warner, and now stand at 25-14 overall and 9-6 in Sun Conference play.

ALL WE DO IS WIN: The Fire are on fire, as they're riding an eight-game winning streak; the last six of those victories have been against Sun Conference opponents.  In the sweep over Warner, the offense outpaced the Royals 38-19.

BOMB SQUAD: Mike D'Acunti launched a grand slam in the first game of Friday's doubleheader against Warner, connecting for his 10th home run.  Chris Mattison hit homers in the first and second innings of the second game, bringing his season total to 13, which is good for sixth in the NAIA.  Luis Diaz hit his fourth home run of the year as well.

THE 400 CLUB: Four Fire players are batting above the .400 mark: Derek Martin (.471), Chris Mattison (.455), Mike D'Acunti (.421), and Marcus Guzman (.415).  The offense as a whole ranks 10th in the NAIA in team batting average as the team sports a .343 average.
