LAKELAND, FLA.-- The Fire are reeling after suffering a three-game sweep at the hands of #5 USC Beaufort. They'll look to rebound Tuesday night at Warner.
APRIL 19: Southeastern (30-17) @ Warner (24-21)
DOUBLE UP: As a team, Southeastern has hit 121 doubles, good for second in the NAIA.
Derek Martin leads the team with 17 doubles and
Chris Mattison is not far behind with 16.
Luis Diaz and
Angel Garced have 14 and 13.
SEASON SERIES: The Fire have won all four contests between the two teams. Southeastern swept Warner in a three-game conference series, and then edged the Royals out in a non-conference matchup last week.
GUZMAN: The center fielder is riding a 15-game hitting streak; his average is standing at an outstanding .417 and his on base percentage is .490.
ROAD WARRIORS: The Fire aren't afraid of going on the road, as the team sports an 11-4 record as the visitors. Southeastern is on a five-game road winning streak, dating back to earlier this month when the Fire took care of Warner, Trinity Baptist, and Florida Memorial.
