LAKELAND, FLA.-- The winning streak has reached 12 straight games for Southeastern, and their hot stretch couldn't have come at a better time.  Sun Conference play is in full swing, and the Fire will have a brief break in conference action before their crucial series against #5 USC Beaufort.  Southeastern will travel to Lake Wales to play a non-conference game at county rival Warner.

Luis Diaz leads the team with 29 stolen bases in 32 attempts.

NOT A JOKE: On April Fool's Day a couple weeks ago, the Fire handed the Royals losses of 16-11 and 13-3.  Southeastern then finished off the sweep with a 9-5 win.  The Fire outhit the Royals 46-32.  Diaz, 
Chris Mattison, and 
Mike D'Acunti all hit home runs in the wins.
RUNS ON RUNS: Southeastern averages 9.3 runs per game; this eye-popping total is good for third in the NAIA.  Diaz leads the team with 52 runs scored.
