VALDOSTA, Ga.—A 20 turnover night put the Southeastern University men's basketball team in a hole at Valdosta State Monday night.

The Blazers scored the first 14 points of the contest, only recording one field goal attempt in the first three minutes of the game. Valdosta State led by as much as 24 in the first half with 2:28 left, but the Fire were able to make it a 19-point deficit at the half, thanks to a
Jase Miguez 3-pointer.
Southeastern started the second half on an 8-3 run to get as close as 14 (58-44), but by the 14:18 mark of the second, the Blazers had the lead back in the 20s.
Miguez, along with
Jeremy Oppenheimer and
Wesley Johnson each had 12 points in the contest. Johnson was the team's leading rebounder with six.
The Fire return to action over the weekend in Kingsport, Tenn. at the NAIA Division II Showcase.
