Saturday's game between Southeastern and Webber International will mark the third time in as many years the Fire will play for The Sun Conference championship.

The Fire will be looking for a different result this time around.

Webber hosted Southeastern in 2014 and protected its home turf with a 28-21 win and the first Sun Conference football title in history. The Fire took on Point last season with the title on the line and lost 66-34.

SEU comes into the matchup ranked 17
th in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, and boasts No. 7 scoring defense, and No. 6 total defense in the NAIA, limiting opponents to just 16.7 points and 279.3 yards per game. That was most evident last Saturday, picking up a 45-0 win over Point.

Offensively, running back
Jarrell Reynolds has posted four straight 100-yard rushing games. Additionally, Southeastern has totaled at least 391 total yards in each of its last three games.

The Warriors are coming off a 14-9 win at home over Ave Maria last Saturday. Webber's defense held the Gyrenes to just 121 yards on 53 total plays.

Webber is ranked 17
th in the NAIA in total defense, allowing 322.4 yards per game, and is holding teams to 24.6 points per game. On offense, the Warriors have had success on the ground, rushing for 188 yards per game.
