LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern picked up their third win of the season with a 9-0 victory over NCAA Division III Hanover College of Indiana. The Panthers were 13-3 this fall and were champions of the Heartland Conference, earning them an automatic qualifying spot in the NCAA national tournament.
Highlights for the Fire included Rachel Van Dyke earning her first collegiate win, teaming up with Stephanie Dodd for an 8-5 come from behind victory at #3 doubles. The duo trailed the match 4-0 early on.
The Fire move to 3-1 and will take on Davenport University on Wednesday in Kissimmee.
