Koby Reyes was hired in April of 2021 as an assistant wrestling coach for the Fire after spending the previous season under Travis Patrick at Arizona Christian University. 

With the Firestorm, Reyes helped five wrestlers qualify for nationals including the program's first All-American. While in Arizona he also spent time as a chaplain with Athletes in Action, working with student-athletes at Arizona State as well as ACU and other Phoenix-area schools. 

Reyes was a four-time state qualifier in his native Montana, finishing as the 145-pound runner-up in 2014 in the MHSA AA finals as a senior. He went on to wrestle collegiately at Purdue University,
