Brandon Jorge

Brandon Jorge was named the second head coach in SEU wrestling program history in May of 2019.

Jorge originally joined the Fire wrestling staff in 2015 before the start of the first season as an assistant coach.

Jorge was a highly decorated wrestler in Polk County, winning four district titles at Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland. Jorge was a three-time state champion and three-time All-American.

He continued his wrestling career at North Carolina State University on an athletic scholarship, making the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll twice, and was a three-time scholar-athlete. 

In his first season at the helm of the program, Jorge guided the Fire to a third place finish in the Mid-South Conference and ninth place finish at NAIA Nationals. Additionally Jorge coached two podium placers in Dylan Chatterton and Coleman Bryant.Â
